As an observability engineer, you are responsible for being a data steward and bridging the gap between the data producer and data consumer. You know data. You know how to discuss data to suggest and refine use cases and enrichment opportunities. You are Cribl certified user as well as Cribl certified Admin. 

• Configure, deploy and maintain the Cribl platform for clients. 
• Design and implement log management solutions to meet client requirements. 
• Experience OCSF standardization - understanding the mapping of RAW events to OCSF schema. 
• Capable of integrating different types of security logs into Cribl, possess a good understanding of routing, pipelines, and functions. 
• Proficient in Javascript expressions and functions.
• Familiar with building packs and upgrading existing Cribl Packs for each data source. 
• Ability to convert data output into parquet format and validate the schema.
• Capable of setting alerts and performance monitoring.
• Provide development & technical support to clients and internal teams.
• Develop custom plugins and scripts to extend the capabilities of the Cribl platform.
• Work with clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to log management. 
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in log management and analytics.
• Find opportunities to expand Cribl use cases for additional teams and functions at the customer. 

• Cribl Engineer with a strong understanding of the Cribl (Cribl certified user, Cribl certified admin.) 
• Experience with other tools like Splunk, Elastic, and Sentinel is a plus 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
• 3+ years of experience in log management, data processing, or related field
