We are seeking an API Security Engineer who will play a critical role in building efficient and secure data communication channels. Your expertise in API design and development will be essential in connecting systems and enabling data flow. • Proficient in REST API testing, and automation, and familiar with tools like Apigee, integrate.io, SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Apigee, integrate.io, Postman, Swagger, Rest-Assured, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
• Experience working within Scrum-agile methodologies, including adherence to coding standards, code reviews, source management, and build processes (CI/CD Pipeline).
• Responsible for understanding, designing, and writing test scenarios and test cases, along with updating these based on requirement changes.
• Hands-on experience in API-related activities, including requirement analysis, design, resource-based API modeling, and micro-services architecture.
• Knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices, as well as hands-on experience in API security standards and implementation.
• Experience in web application testing, penetration testing, understanding of OWASP, and prior scripting/coding is considered a plus.
• Assisting clients in reviewing their API security and developing a roadmap to implement leading API Security tools.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation and familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
• Understanding the effects of WAF and Akamai on API Security in the event of substituting MuleSoft.

• B.Tech-CSE, M.Tech-CSE, BCA, MCA.
• Experience in creating PPTs, weekly monitoring reports, 
• Participation in client review meetings
